Apaulo Music Presents the Smooth Jazz Allstars featuring Saxman Paul Taylor, French guitarist Marc Antoinne, Grammy winning pianist Gregg Karukas and Hawaii's own Michael Paulo. In the 21 years since Paul Taylor first got On The Horn with his hit debut album, he’s enjoyed an extraordinary journey in the contemporary urban jazz world. With ten solo releases Paul is back and will be featuring new songs from his latest release Tenacity. Since his 1994 debout release Marc Antoinne has helped define the sounds of contemporay acoustic guitar . With 13 solo releases Classically trained at the International School of Classical Guitar, Antoine first became known to urban jazz audiences when he toured with Basia in 1988. After several years recording and performing what was then known as “acid jazz,” he endeared himself to a generation of contemporary jazz fans with his first solo album, Classical Soul. He later scored numerous airplay hits from the albums which have established him as a mainstay in the genre.He has appeared on numerous albums for other artists (Saisse, Braun, Jim Brickman, David Benoit, Dave Koz, Mindi Abair, ) and has been featured in many of the annual Guitars & Saxes all-star tours and jazz cruises. Gregg Karukas has received multiple Best Keyboardist nominations at the Oasis and National Smooth Jazz Awards. His best-known songs, "Elegant Nights (#1), "Rio Drive"(#1), "Girl in the Red Dress" (#4) "Nightshift" (#1), and Jessy J.'s #1 hit "Tropical Rain" showcase Gregg's funky, melodic compositional style familiar to his fans.
