Join us for an evening of Christmas Cheer featuring Hawaii's Legends of entertainment. Hawaii's ambassador of Aloha Danny Kaleikini teams up with Hawaii's King of the Keboards Rene Paulo along with special guests Melveen Leed , internationally renown saxophonist Michael Paulo, rising star saxophonist Nicholas Kaleikini  ,Bassist Bruce Hamada  Jr. and special guests Kathy Paulo, Rene Paulo Jr. Al Waterson, and Kaylee Shimizu.  The spirit of aloha and the love of this magical island is held dearly within this musically inspired family. Danny Kaleikini, also known as "Kaniela,"  has been entertaining audiences from around the world for over 40 years and is most commonly known for his long-standing residency at the Kahala Hilton, a stint that ran for 30 years. He was the opening act for Paul Anka and has performed alongside Sammy Davis Jr., Wayne Newton, Dolly Parton, McGuire Sisters, and Don Ho. Hawaii's King of the keyboard Rene Paulo has been entertaining audiences for over 60 years . At 88 years young he still records for a Japnaese record label and actively performs always and receiving standing ovations from the audience. He is a well respected and revered pianist  in Hawaii and a lifetime achievement award recipient for his musical contributions to Hawaii. Melveen Leed is the queen of Hawaiian Soul in Hawaii . After winning the title of "Miss Molokai" she begin singing in the mid-1960s and has released a number of records in the genres of Hawaiian Country, and Jazz music.She won the Na Hoku Hanohano Award for Best Female Vocalist in 1978, 1979, 1981, 1984 and 1987. She has had several guest roles on Hawaii Five-O and sang at the Grand Ole Opry. She is arguably the best female vocalist in Hawaii and has performed in the Islands, Las Vegas, Japan and on the west coast of California.  The legacy of music continues with Michael Paulo son of Rene who is known throughout the world performing having performed at all the major jazz festivals and has ten solo records to his credit. Michael has also been involved with prodcuing festivals and concert events in Hawaii and California. Nicholas Kaleaikini is saxophonists and rising star . Nicholas, grandson of Kaniela, is a classically trained musician and producer/engineer at Lana Lane Studios.  He played clarinet in his early years that developed into a lifelong love of the saxophone and piano.
