Live at the rRed Elephant presents Fingers and Tongues Fingers and Tongues is an exciting evening of piano and storytelling improvisations. Featuring pianist LES ADAM improvising to 3 storytellers on each night. Here is a unique, live, storytelling improvisation event. Each night has two sets. In each set, the tongues tell as the fingers play: nothing is planned. Fresh! The Honolulu Book Fair will import SANDREA MACLEES (Volcano) and "TITA" KATHY COLLINS (Maui, Best Comedy CD Hoku 2005). Both are regulars at the Talk Story Festival, but rarely do other Oahu shows. LOPAKA KAPANUI does ghost tours, but not public tells. MAKIA MALO (Kalaupapa) is even harder to hear. JAMES MCCARTHY plays often at O'Tooles, but rarely gets to tell stories. LES ADAM is in town to play piano for Willy Nelson at teh Kokua Festival. He's collaberated with JEFF GERE on several CD's. Thier newest Silly N' Spooky Kid Kind Tales, comes out in April (available at shows). Les is famous on Maui for his playing to silent movies and on Sunday's at Casanovas in Makawao, Mana'o Radio's live broadcast show. rRed Elephant is THE exquisite new black box performance venue.
