University of the Pacific’s Gospel Fest
The hottest name in Gospel Music today, singer Marvin Sapp will highlight University of the Pacific’s Gospel Fest this year. The concert is part of the University’s annual Black History Month celebration.
Sapp is best known for his mega hit "Never Would Have Made It," which became the longest running No. 1 single in Billboard’s history. Opening for Sapp will be Deon Kipping, a rising star in the gospel industry known for his Christian/Neo Soul style.
Held for the first time off campus, the gospel concert will take place at one of the largest African American churches in the Stockton area.
