Toto Goes Home (0:32) - Dir. Tim Phillips
Snatched from the wild as a baby, Toto was sold to a circus and toured South America for over 20 years, chained by the neck and living in a packing crate. Rescued by Animal Defenders International and returned to Africa. Toto's loneliness finally ends when for the first time in over two decades - he embraces a fellow chimpanzee. Follow Toto's incredible adventure as he returns home to Africa.
Animals of Katrina (0:03) - Dir. Bill Dyer
"The Animals Of Katrina" illustates the valiant efforts of volunteers who participated in the largest animal rescue operation in America's history.
Dark Water Rising (1:13) - Dir. Mike Shiley
Over 50,000 dogs and cats were left behind in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurrican Katrina as FEMA required that all animals be left behind in the mandatory evacuation. This forced separation created America's first-ever major animal rescue. Animals of Katrina and Dark Water Rising are about hope and survival in the face of one of the worst natural disasters in American History.
